To connect HitLights LED light strips with solderless connectors, follow these steps:
1. Determine the width of your COB or LED strip lights if it is 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm.
2. Select the proper connector based on the width and number of pins of your LED strip lights, for single color it will be a 2-pin connector either 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm width that matches your lights. For RGB lights that will be a 4-pin connector and for the RGBW lights, that will require a 5-pin connector.
3. Take the cut end of your strips with the copper pads and slide them under the connectors. Make sure that you align the positive side of the strips. (Look for 12V+)
4. Turn on your light strip to make sure you have a good connection.- If you do, then go ahead and close the connectors.- If you don’t, then leave your lights on and keep trying to make a connection. (If you have an RGB Color Changing Strip, then set your strips to white while you make this connection).
