I've been using HitLights for several years now and they are just fantastic. I recommend using high-density type for the best color and brightness. Oh, and you do not have to power from both ends! Doesn't matter if they are 3 feet or 6 feet long, I've never had trouble lighting them up to full brightness and they also do not get hot. These are good buy!

I bought 36 HitLight strip lighting kit on Amazon and yesterday after careful read of instructions installed it under mantel over a group of vintage ceramic flamingos. The effect is amazing and more bang for the buck than an A Bomb! I would suggest that the prong connectors be tightened and even connected with a click. I had a bit of a trial and error assembly and after I had reconnected 2X the lock in was quite loose. I have installed the wonder lights and had a ball with the remote and will never touch the lights again!
