How do I install this with an LED strip?
Cut your LED strip on the cut point, simply open the clasp and make sure the strip aligns correctly with the connector and slide it underneath the contact prongs pins.
Can I shorten the LED strip and re-use the connector on the cut end?
Yes, you can trim your LED strip to length and reuse the connector with no issues. Just make sure to cut the LED strip on the cut mark.
Is it normal for the connectors to get warm during use?
It is normal for the connectors to get slightly warm to the touch during operation. This is not a cause for concern.
