Great Color Quality

Bought these lights for a first time indoor LED project in my apartment. Didn't end up needing the waterproofing but was able to remove the cover and reapply the adhesive to the strip itself. They are used to uplight indoor plants and the warm white is very inviting. Happy with the color quality compared to some of my purchases on Amazon. Very happy with the dimmer remote and power supply that I bought along with. At the time of purchase they were out of some of the solderless clips that I needed so had to resort to Amazon for those (ended up not being the best). The lights do run a little hot however it hasn't affected the adhesive for the 6 months that I've had them. Will consider this brand for future projects.

Good Product but needs work

The product itself it made well just like all of Hitlights but the install portion needs to be worked on. How you you cut and reuse the waterproof? Ive modified it to make it work but there has to be an easier way. Plus, where is an end cap to seal end when it is cut? Ive just had to fill it with clear silicone caulking to make it work.

Good quality for an out door project. I definitely recommend this product, easy to install.

What is 16.4 foot?

Could you please stick to one measurement system? Either say 0.00003 foot between leds, or if you decide to use metric (thankfully) can you provide length in metres as well? Thank you.

These lights are great.

Simplifies the LED tape light installation

These connectors make reliable LED tape light connections and simplify the tape light installation process. If you are installing gel coated tapes, be sure to gently scrape the tape contacts untill they shine. Otherwise, the gel residue acts as an insulator. - (Hitlights Amazon Store)

Warm White (3000K) strip is NOT warm - choose 2700K (“Soft White”) for warm incandescent effect

Beware the somewhat misleading descriptors used for these lights. While the 3000K option is described as “Warm White” and 2700K as “Soft White,” in fact, 3000K to these eyes has nothing to do with warm. It’s a cool, neutral light that reads bluish-white at night. We were looking to replace old “rope lights” from maybe 15 years ago that gave off a truly warm, incandescent glow. After doing some post-installation research, I now see that if you’re looking for a warm incandescent lighting effect, go for 2700K, whatever it’s called by the vendor. Why the warmer, in fact, warmest (2700K) light is called “soft” rather than “warm” and the cooler (3000K) is called “warm” is, frankly, beyond me. Caveat emptor!
